Vintage Halloween masks and American traditional tattoo art served as the perfect inspiration to capture a blind cat named Cricket in illustrated form. His owners, Manny Salvatori and Brittany Grasso-Salvatori, are the co-founders of a small-batch brewery they named not only after him, but in honor of special needs animals everywhere. I had the pleasure of leading this identity, centering it around a custom wordmark that evokes the movement of a slinky black cat’s tail. A portion of the brewery’s beer sales goes to local animal rescues, and they’ve even hosted adoption events!
